Join the SDS® Women’s Training Team – 6-Week Running Program.

We’re thrilled to launch the first-ever SDS® Women’s Running Team, led by our expert coaches and athletes. This program is designed for women only, to push each other, build one another, and achieve our personal goals in running— and if you are in , let`s run the GP Bern together after the 6 Week Training.

Program Start: 31st March

Frequency: 2 sessions per week

  • Tuesdays: Longer runs for building endurance
  • Thursdays: Interval and technique sessions for speed, strength, and efficiency

WHY JOIN?

Learn from experienced coaches how to run efficiently and avoid common mistakes before, during, and after race day.

Gain trail running expertise: what to bring, how to fuel, and pacing strategies.

Get full access to the program covering race-day preparation, nutrition, and recovery.

Optional goal: run the Grand Prix Bern(GP) together (5 km or 16 km depending on availability) on 9th of Mai

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Our 6-week program is thoughtfully designed to gradually build endurance, speed, and technique.

Each session is purposeful, combining long runs, intervals, and expert guidance.

You’ll not only improve your running performance, but also gain confidence, consistency, and become part of a strong and empowering female community.

Training Schedule

Tuesdays – Long Runs (Endurance Focus)
Meeting Point: SDS HQ – 19:00
Sometimes we may start from other locations depending on the route.
The meeting point will be communicated every Monday via our Instagram Group Chat that you will be invited to.

Thursdays – Speed, Technique & Strength
Time: 18:00 – 19:15
Meeting Point: SDS HQ or Liebefeld Track

These sessions include:

  • Interval training
  • Running technique drills
  • Strength & efficiency work
  • Hill intervals to build power and endurance

Training locations may vary depending on the workout.

SHARON

Lead - Programing Tuesday Long Runs

9 years background in athletics, specializing in heptathlon (including discus) at a competitive level

Competed at national events (including Swiss Championships)

Transitioned fully into running over the past 3 years, now focusing on long-distance endurance

Completed marathons and currently training for ultra distances

Upcoming goals: 73 km ultra in May, Biel 100 km in June, and a Backyard Ultra later this year

Lead - Programing Thursday Intervals

Former Swedish national middle-distance runner & international trail/skyrunning competitor

5 years coaching experience + soon-to-be doctor in Nutritional Medicine

Fun fact: Runs with a titanium hip after hip replacement ;)

8 years coaching experience & 15+ years of athletic / CF training
